cwim leaders
About
Join us for a weekend like no other!
CWIM Leaders was built specifically for women in medicine and is brought to you by the organizers of CWIM Conference and CWIM Parenting. We are thrilled to introduce a new CWIM Leaders offering after having over five-hundred women complete our first CWIM Leaders courses virtually in 2021 and 2022. This course has sold out twice (in the fall of 2023 and spring of 2024) in beautiful Kelowna, BC, so we are bringing it to Ontario: you ask, we build!
This event will inspire you for years to come in all aspects of your life. Whether you're in a formal leadership role, aspiring for a leadership position, or simply looking for ways to improve your work and home life, this event is for you. It has been designed to give you tools you can apply in all aspects of your busy life.
We've focused on topics that women physicians have told us they need: strategies to re-focus on the parts of our careers that bring us joy & strategies for efficiency to reduce time burden and burnout. Plus practical skills to make work better and move forward, and confidence builders to help us get there.

This event is designed to provide awareness and understanding of:
-
How structural factors influence women's confidence
-
How to successfully navigate difficult conversations at work and home
-
The art of joyful productivity and building systems to reduce time stress
-
How to take stock of personal capacity and refresh your career
-
How self-compassion can help build inner confidence and how to set confidence goals & values
-
How to rock a meeting - as a leader or a participant
This event pushes beyond theory and is focused on empowering you, as women physicians & leaaders, with concrete strategies that can be implemented directly after each session. Our goal is to add to your leadership and life toolkit and to build a community of women to share successes & struggles with.

This course has been accredited by the RCPSC and the CFPC for a total of 12 credits.

In order to foster gender equality in leadership more broadly, CWIM Leaders is proud to support the Canadian Women's Foundation's inclusive leadership programming with a portion of the event proceeds. Learn more about their great work at: www.canadianwomen.org
